Proven leadership and strategic planning are essential to the success of any team collaboration. The Loftworks team has an established track record developing several of the most pioneering, high-quality projects in Midtown Sacramento including The Elliott Building and O1 Lofts.
The Elliott Building, completed in 2003, involved converting a dilapidated 1922 automotive showroom and service center into an innovative mixed-use building. The ground floor now houses two award-winning restaurants, PF Chang’s China Bistro and Mikuni Japanese Restaurant, while the second floor houses office space for two prestigious firms. The two top floors contain 18 unique live/work lofts, averaging in size around 1,000 square feet.
O1 Lofts, completed in 2005, was developed on the heels of the enormous success of The Elliott Building which demonstrated Sacramento’s desire for urban loft living. The building’s first floor is home to local hot spot, Bistro 33 and the San Francisco-based Design Within Reach, a modern furnishings studio. The second floor houses the offices of O1 Communications. The third and fourth floors boast 14 live/work lofts that average about 625 square feet in size.
Recently LoftWorks was selected as the development partner for one of Midtown’s most dynamic new projects: the Sutter Medical Center’s midtown expansion. This project will include Sutter Brownstones, 28 urban townhomes and will be LoftWorks first for-sale project.
Downtown Sacramento is re-emerging as the vibrant cultural, entertainment, business and residential destination for the entire region. As this trend continues and accelerates, LoftWorks will be part of the team which brings these inspired innovative projects to fruition.
